Returns & refunds
Plain English — your Australian Consumer Law rights always come first.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If something is faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose, you’re entitled to a remedy.
- Minor problem: we’ll repair or replace it.
- Major problem: you choose a refund or a replacement.
Faulty or damaged
Email shannon@makerandspool.com.au with your order number and photos. For a confirmed fault, we cover reasonable return postage. If a parcel arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days with photos of the item and packaging.
Custom & made-to-order
We can’t accept change-of-mind returns on custom or personalised pieces — they’re made for you. Consumer guarantees still apply if the item is faulty or isn’t what we agreed.
Ready-made stock
Unused ready-made items in original condition can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a change of mind. Return postage is on you; we’ll refund the item price once it’s back safely.

How we use your details
When you send the contact form, we collect your name, email, and message so we can reply to your enquiry. We don’t sell or rent your details. Form delivery is handled by Web3Forms; we keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request.
